Withdrawal information

1. Which contract is concerned?

A statutory withdrawal right depends on the particular contract and parties. A consumer generally has a withdrawal right for a distance service contract with a trader, subject to statutory exceptions. The selected business or self-employed provider is the contracting party for service performance. The platform usage agreement is separate.

2. Period and declaration

For services the regular period is generally 14 days from contract conclusion, subject to proper information and the statutory conditions for the period to start. Your declaration must clearly identify the decision to withdraw from the relevant contract. No reason is needed. Email or a letter can be used.

Send the declaration to the actual contracting party or a duly authorised recipient. For the referred service contract, use the actual provider’s contract and contact details. For declarations concerning a separate platform usage agreement, contact the operator in the legal notice at info@hausblitz24.de. A support message to a platform without receiving authority does not automatically establish receipt by that provider.

3. Services that have already started

Starting work within the withdrawal period does not automatically remove the right. Conditions for early expiry on full performance and any proportionate payment must be met in the particular case. These may include express consumer declarations and proper information. Offer acceptance alone is not treated as a blanket waiver.

4. Effects of a valid withdrawal

Restitution and any proportionate payment follow the law and the specific contract. Where a refund is due, the applicable statutory period must be observed; for services this is generally no later than 14 days after receipt of withdrawal. Statutory exceptions and counterclaims require case-specific assessment. Opening this information page does not trigger an automatic refund.
